  1. Christmas is seen as a family celebration, so most people will be at home on Christmas Day.  Some will attend midnight mass.  France is well-known for it's Christmas markets which are held in December, where you'll find food, trinkets, handmade gifts etc for sale.

    Halloween is not celebrated outside the USA.


  2. Halloween is generally non-existent (a brief fad celebrating Halloween in recent years died down when the person who had actively promoted it passed away). Christmas is very low-key compared to the U.S., with far fewer decorations and commercialization.

  3. I am not sure how Christmas is but they don't really celebrate Halloween. It's more of an American Tradition.
