Well my dad got a new job offer, and if he accepts and gets it we will be moving to Bogota, Colombia.

I was wondering what it's like? Right now I live in Southern U.S. and I am used to busy streets and dangerous places because I was born and lived in Trinidad And Toabago for 7 years then moved to the U.S. and have lived here since..

But, an everyday life in Bogota, Colombia (people on the streets, kids around, etc) what's it like?

Thanks for your answers!

  1. I always assimilate it to the lifestyle in New York! It's a metropolitan city in which i was born and raised in, and i absolutely loveee it!! There's soo many things  to do-

dance academies, gyms, movie theaters, theme parks, shopping malls, parks, museums, and many many more!

People are always walking- u walk everywhere, if not, u drive ur car or ride a taxi-bus-bikes-or the transmilenio.

Also, there's art everywhere, sculptures from Botero and everything. The climate can range from 50s to  80s.

There is so much natural beauty to admire, as well as the architecture and the people!

You're Probably gonna live in a gated community? i recommend it- its safe, and you should go to a private school, the education there is outstanding!

I think you'll have a lot of fun there! you have to keep your eyes open for new experiences though- bad and i meaan bad traffic, but entertainment from jugglers on the streets doing tricks and stunts while the light is red... amusing :)

Just try to enjoy it the most you can!

    Best of Luck!
