  1. Colwyn Bay sweeps from the town of Old Colwyn to the small town of Rhos-on-Sea.  We always go to Rhos end of the bay and park our car along the prom. You can then literally walk down steps to a lovely quite clean beach. When the tide is out and the weather is fine it is a lovely beach to spend the day on.

You only have to carry all your bags and towels down the steps, and not miles from a car park.

Llandudno is a lovely town, with a nice beach but it can get very busy.

It has a punch and judy show, a pier, donkey rides and boat rides. There is lots of shops and things to see and do. But if you are looking for just a a quiet beach then I would try Rhos.

The thing is if you get fed up with the beach at Rhos then Llandudno is only 15 minutes away

  2. Hi I live in LLandudno and it's very nice, clean town with lots too do, give me a shout when you get here and I will show you round.

  3. Colwyn Bay is not in Llandudno, they are 2 separate towns.

    Llandudno beach is clean.

  4. Up the orm in llandudno is great i live there

  5. Go to LLandudno i'm down the road from there wouldnt go to Colwyn Bay though LLandudno is cleaner and more tourists go there as the promenade and pier is a great walk you can also go up the orme in a tram if you don't fancy the walk but the views are great and once you get to the top of the orme there is a great cafe and also the cable cars will be running weather permitting!! (it is wales after all!!)

    enjoy!

  6. i last went 10 years ago, but it was really nice. it does have tourists, mainly older people, so is also clean and quiet.

  7. Llandudno is a tourist hotspot because it has the seaside. There might be a few areas around the town which are quieter. The weather may also present fewer tourists. been a few times cos i'm from Northeast Wales. It's fun for a day out - you should try the Mayday parade next year if you fancy going back.
