What is Cosham, Portsmouth like to live in? ?

I've heard there's quite a few rough areas in Portsmouth, and I'm hoping to study at the Highbury College this year, which is in Cosham.

What is it like there to live - is there a lot of crime compared to other areas/towns?

Any opinions appreciated :)

Looks rough to me but I've only passed through it.

  I disagree with Ry Elpe. Both Portsmouth  and Southampton are very pleasant areas. I know that Pompey is a great place to go for recreatioal purposes. S'oton is too far away except for weekends,

Dont accept answers from people who have only 'PASSED THROUGH'

or have heard from others but know nothing about.it. Cosham is just a suburb of Pompey and as such is quiet and probably boring.

Cosham  is on the outskirts  of  Portsmouth  its a  small town with   a  high  street  with  shops  and a  train  station   which is about    a ten  minute  train  ride  into  Portsmouth  and ,its  not  rough   compared to  some  areas  like Paulsgrove  and  Wymering which are in the same  area   i  think   the  crime  rate is   pretty  low  in  comparison  to  some  areas  in  Porstmouth   and   neighbouring   Southampton.Good  luck  with your  studies  at  Highbury my brother  was  at Highbury  college  and he had  the best time  there.  enjoy

From what I've heard, not particularly nice like virtually all of Pompy or Soton.
