  1. its suppost to be like when you sence you have done this before or been in the same situation .i have no idea why we get it but it happens to me a lot

  2. De ja Vu is when you walk somewhere  makes no diffs where you are and you get a strong feeling that you have been there before, even to the point that you can describe what is around the corner etc.

  3. the feeling that you are experiencing something you've experienced before.  No one really knows why it happens but probably your brain is just stringing together some old memories and it seems like something happened to you before.

  4. a feeling that you have been there or have done that before.  some people think it is because we have past lives and they "show up" now and again.

  5. It's the feeling that you have experienced a certain situation before.  You get it because many situations repeat themselves, and your brain is recognizing that fact.

  6. That's clever, Neil E

But remember that Deja vu is commonly mistaken with Deja vecu.

  7. De ja vu "already seen"; also called paramnesia, from Greek παρα para, "near" + μνήμη mnēmē, "memory") is the experience of feeling sure that one has witnessed or experienced a new situation previously (an individual feels as though an event has already happened or has repeated itself). The term was coined by a French psychic researcher, Émile Boirac (1851–1917) in his book L'Avenir des sciences psychiques (The Future of Psychic Sciences), which expanded upon an essay he wrote while an undergraduate. The experience of déjà vu is usually accompanied by a compelling sense of familiarity, and also a sense of "eeriness", "strangeness", or "weirdness". The "previous" experience is most frequently attributed to a dream, although in some cases there is a firm sense that the experience "genuinely happened" in the past.

The experience of déjà vu seems to be quite common among adults and children alike; in formal studies 70% of people report having experienced it at least once. References to the experience of déjà vu are also found in literature of the past, indicating it is not a new phenomenon. It has been extremely difficult to evoke the déjà vu experience in laboratory settings, therefore making it a subject of few empirical studies. Recently, researchers have found ways to recreate this sensation using hypnosis.[1]

  8. It's when you get a flashback of something that has happened to you in the past that is either happening at the same time that you recollected it, or you were thinking about it.

For example, maybe your best friend in 2nd grade was named Jocelyn and since her you have never met someone with that name before, and twenty years later you do- and then all of a sudden your remember your best friend from 2nd grade.

You just get it because it's your memory bringing something back that was triggered by something you saw, heard, read, did, etc.

  9. its when u experience something that u have seen before like in a dream!!

  10. I dont know but im sure ive already answered this one?

  11. When you experience something and you feel like it has happened before. You normally get it because you have seen it before subconsciously, or there is something in your mind that feels like it is very familiar.
