What is DRY tuna??? I am not a fish person so i don't know.?

Is it the tuna in a can??? i really need help..

  1. There is tuna in the foil type packages, it does not have to be drained.  If you need dry tuna in a recipe, it usually means canned tuna that all the oil or water has been squeezed out of it.  


  2. Tuna in a can is packed in oil or water, so that could not be dry.

    To me dry tuna is anything over medium rare when you order it at a restaurant.

    but i've never heard that term before.

    maybe a freeze-dried product?


  3. I'm not sure? ! Maybe it's just the tuna w/out any mayo or anything added ....Good question.
