It's a race day in March. It's takes place in Dubai which is located in the United Arab Emirates near Saudi Arabia. Horses from all nations travel there to compete in  seven races of varying purses, totalling $21.25 million.

Two races featured at the meet are the $5 Million Dubai Duty Free Turf Race & the Dubai Classic.

This years Classic was won by American Horse of the Year Curlin.  (He was also last years Preakness & Breeders Cup winner).

Dubai's dirt track has an interesting and unique design. It's runs clock wise like North American tracks do... but it has a decent size 1st stretch that is met by a slight angled turn, then it has a long 2nd stretch that goes into it's final turn followed by another very long home stretch.
