  1. VGA is analog signal,DVI is digital signal

  2. Its a new standard for video.. I prefer it over VGA.. some say its higherquality..

  3. You can easily get an adapter to go from vga to dvi, heck, most monitors come with one in the box. From experience, there's not much difference between the two.

  4. DVI means Digital Visual Interface. Its basically an HD port.

Some older HD TVs came with a DVI port, but has now been replaced by HDMI ( as HMDI can carry audio as well, DVI cant).

Its pretty neat, if you want to watch say blu ray discs on your comp, and if you play games.
