What is Delta like?

What was your experience like flying with them?

Was the service & food good?

Are the seats comfortable?

Do they show movies? Are they good?

Are they a good airline?

etc......

I'm flying with them soon and was wondering what Delta was like. Thanks! xD

1. My last experience with them was yesterday - I was late 30 minutes late to my destination, but that was out of Delta's control (weather-related). The crews were all very pleasant, nothing wrong with the planes.

2. Yes, the service was good. The food was just a small snack, and it was good, too (if they offer "Biscoff cookies", get them - they're free and they're delicious).

Delta only offers snack-type things on domestic flights (there are meals available for purchase, but they're about $8 each), but they will allow you to bring your own food on board the aircraft if you want (grab something in the airport terminal before you board your plane).

On international flights, complimentary meal service is available.

3. The seats are ok. They're typical airplane seats.

4. They show movies on cross-country or transcontinental flights, not on short domestic ones. The films that they show change periodically, so check the latest ones here: http://entertainment.delta.com/

5. Delta is as good an airline as any. I've never had any major qualms with them, and you probably won't, either.
