He had made short before, that even included the debut appearance of Mickey Mouse, but the first animated movie that he did was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which is from 1937. So yeah it is old, and this was the first completely animated movie, and it premiered at the end of 1937, and officially opened in many theaters in early 1938.
