It's what you get.. when you see pics of Dolly from the 70's... omg... omg... omg... then, instant Dolly-wood. (seriously, the place is fun if you're in that part of Tennessee region and them thar hills of the Smokey Mts if my memory serves me.. don't expect Disneyland, but it is a nice/cozy amusement park and is fairly well maintained for its age.. just like her).

Like, there's silicone-padded roads...and they're pretty fun to walk on! It's like a moonbounce! Try jumpin' on them when you're drunk!

actually it is interesting, there are so many things to do there and in Gatlinburg,plus over the mountain into Cherokee N.C. i went to Cherokee and gambled(won $2500.) so i kinda like it. plus i hear that they have some new entertainment there like country western kind of stuff. The Dixie Stampede was a lot of fun(Dolly owns that too!) motels were reasonable,or you can rent a chalet in the mountain for about the same monies. Gatlinburg is 10 miles +- away and a lot of fun there also. go and expect to stay a few days(3+) i did and went back many times and enjoyed it each time. i recommend it for clean family fun,but be advised shop for good deals before you go cause it is a busy area and you might be camping out if you don't make reservations. and that is another story,they have nice RV parks. also to answer your question,YES i liked Dollywood a bunch,a very nice experience

if you like small gift shops then its the place for you. I didnt like it that well
