why does everyone think that everyone else is emo if they arent prep...i hate labeling...there is no such thing as emos, and i have never seen a real one in school...ppl are just jelous to be themselevs and express themselves so all the girliegirls prep abercrombie juicy wearers call anyone who wears black or listens to alternative music emo.

i think emo people are people who cut themselves, they hurt themselves and they say they love it. for example, an emo will cut thir muscle with a knife and put lemon and salt on it.

People always seem to feel the need to belong to or places others in some kind of group. The definition of EMO seems to vary from region to region but they usually categorized as the moody, quiet kids in the back of the classroom who cut themselves and/or wear lots of black. The can be seen as deep (emotional wise) or attention seeking (with the cutting thing).

Stereo types are over generalized and stupid and never come close to describing the actual individual.
