What is EVERYTHING that I can buy with excess scholarship money?

Not loans. Not grants. SCHOLARSHIPS. My account for this semester is -$1,483. It's going to disappear because it's offered from the school. (tuition, books, fees are all covered)

What can I buy besides a laptop with that money. I'm not going to get refunded this money.

Do you live on campus?  If not, can you use it for gas money?  What about meals in the cafeteria?

Go raid the bookstore. Load up on supplies- paper, notebooks, binders.

Get lab equipment you're going to need later on.
