hours and hours of wreckless loss of time. lol. but its an rpg set in a fantasy world inwhich u level up slay the dragon and make cool characters. very fun if you like role-playing games.

You create a character from scratch with different abilities, then you do quests and you get rewards, and you also increase your skills as you progress through the game. You use swords, magic, and bows to kill things. Oblivion is a great game, my favorite offline game. There is a lot to do and it will keep you busy for a long time, I have played it for about 700 hours.

MINOR SPOILERS

If you ask bout plot, it all begins when during your escape from jail you stumble upon fleeing emperor surrounded by his guards.

After fierce battle the emperor dies, but before that he asks you to find his son. Later you learn that death of emperor caused gates to h**l called Oblivion appear troughout whole country. You have to find emperor's son, find out who stands behind this disaster and close all gates to oblivion. However that's just your main quest, there are loads of sidequests, exploration, and complicated character development, that will surely make you forget bout your target.
