  1. Cornish Pasties

    Pork Pies

    Full English Breakfast

    Yorkshire Pudding

    Plum Duff

    Fish 'n Chips.

  2. The English are noted for good soups, very summer puddings (cold puddings making use of fresh fruit and berries in season)  excellent scones and cakes like you would serve with tea. Stews and hot pots. Fantastic beef,

fish and shellfish recipes. As an Island they would have access to the bounty of the sea. Their breads are very good

There are a lot of different specialties in England because of the diverse peoples. They have wonderful curries and Indian dishes. In fact there are more Indian restaurants in London than there are in New Dehli. Also Jamaican food.  The English borrowed a lot of their foods from the colonies that they had. Don't let anyone tell you that there is no such thing as English cuisine. These are people who have no taste or

make no effort to find a restaurant that doesn't serve fish and chips and burgers.

  3. fish and chips

    blood and kidney pudding

    dry toast with cucumber slices

in other words, you don't really wanna know....

  4. Fish and chips

  5. Bangers and Mash (sausages and  mashed potatoes)

Bubble and Squeak (fried cabbage and potatoes sometimes other leftover vegetables)

Toad in a hole. (sausages in a Yorkshire pudding with gravy)

Fried Bread. (bread fried in grease)

Bacon Sarnies.  (bacon sandwich--you can google a recipe

Shepherds pie (sort of a greasy beef pot pie pie with a piped mashed-potato topping)

I think the English like curries so much because their own cuisine is a bit bland.  Although I will say that Bangers are superior to American sausage.  But I really prefer the Irish kind.  I love blood pudding too--but again, that's really Irish.
