  2. Difficult question, almost impossible to answer. Since it sounds as if you're a first time traveler to France I will try to remember how I felt after arriving on French soil for the first time.  First of all, France is majestic and beautiful. Hearing the flow of the language is an awesome experience, even if you're not a French speaker. France can be romantic and cosmopolitan depending on where you are in France. If you're in the country you can enjoy the beauty of the landscape or the generosity of the villagers. In Paris you can eat the best food, drink the most glorious wine and get a bird's eye view from the Eiffel Tower of the grandeur of Paris.  If you're lucky enough to visit the Louvre or the Jeu de Paume you can experience the brilliance of world reknowned artists or take a leisurely stroll along the seine.  What is France like? It's an experience to be savored and enjoyed. It's the smell of baking bread wafting from a boulangerie or the savory taste of hot chocolat. It's two lovers taking a stroll in Monmartre or the smell of a woman's Chanel perfume as she saunters by. It's a memory that will last forever. It's stepping into another world, another culture and being lucky enough to experience it.

  3. Perhaps you could rephrase your question to make it a bit more specific? What are we talking about here? The architecture, the weather, the people, the food, the arts and entertainment, current events, etc? Where in France are you going, for starters?
