  1. The GED (General Education Development) exam is a series of five tests you take to obtain a high school diploma.

The series of test subjects or: Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Social studies and Science.

Usually people take this test when someone has dropped out of high school or (a rare instance as mine) was home-schooled and need to obtain a proof of competency on the high school level.

Most states have it where you have to score at least a 410 on the series of tests to successfully pass the GED exam and obtain your high school diploma.

You or only able to take the GED exam when you over the age of 16.

Yet most states might require you to 18+ so make sure you find out your specific state requirement's.

If you need more information look into my source or email me to ask any questions that might rise up on your quest for the getting the GED, which i'm in the process of doing right now.

    It will be no problem.

I also have a link to the book that really helped me out to familiarize with the format of the exam and it helped me a lot with brushing up on stuff that will be on the test.

Hopefully i helped you out :)

  2. It is a high school equivalency exam.

Completing a GED course and passing the resulting exams is legally equivalent to having graduated from high school in the US.
