Sorry there I was, thinking I was quite knowledgeable about Goethe, but the quote is unknown to me, and I could not find it anywhere on the web, either.

I tried several German translations, but none gave me any results.

My own translation: Wenn' s eine Rose ist,  wird's früher oder später blühen."
