What is Grouply.com & what function does it perform?

Question

I swear I am not an internet Neaderthal; however, I have recently rec'd several solicitations to join "Grouply.com" that appears to have some sort of at least superficial connection with the multiple Yahoo Groups that I operate. I have tried to surreptitiously investigate without following the provided link(s), but generally come up against a log in prompt - no hard information.

Please advise &/or share your experiences. It would be appreciated.

Grouply is a site that puts in order all of your groups on one page but i wouldn't use them. They need your password etc to be able to access your groups. a lot of group owners, myself included have opted our groups out of grouply as grouply will access your address book and email everyone in it. This IMO is spamming.
