What is Guitar Pro and is it worth the money?

Firstly what is guitar pro and is it any good. Secondly is there another way of getting something similar for free or at least less money? Also once you "Try" it can you "Try" it again afterwards?

Guitar pro is a great program, i have it myself.

You can also get powertab for free however. It works in a similar manner with less options.

I guitar pro, it tabs out the music for you and also makes notation. It shows you how to play other instruments parts on the guitar if you choose to. Its a great program, but perhaps not worth the money if you arent completely interested in it.

Powertab is a GREAT free alternative.

(And yes, i THINK you can redownload it after youve *ahem* tried it. =])
