What is H.R. Giger's style?

Which aspect of Giger's work interest you the most? and what do you think is his style and how strong is his concept work?

  1. Giger's artwork is brain mush. It is the Twinkie of the art world: no nutritional value, no substance, no ultimate satisfaction. Sorry if this is news to you. But, really, his art only appeals to college students, serial killers, or losers who are over 25 and have not yet moved out of Mom's house.

    I don't know what "concept work" is, but his work is nothing more than a constant riff on the same old theme.

    In the art world, no one talks about "styles" anymore. His work may be influenced by other work, or may bear some resemblance to other work, but everybody is doing their own thing.

    I don''t know much about art styles ( I worry more about technique :-) ), but I'd say something like an onyric (sp?) surrealism based on sci-fi horror with erotic conections ?
