  1. dude ur a waste of space. SHUT UP man. godd u ask dumb questions. u can easily find that answer on wikipedia, yahoo, or even EBAY lol.

  2. A HDTV stands for High Definition Television. And all LCD or plasma TVs are HD because they are often big and need a higher resolution so the picture has more pixels and is way more clear.

An Plasma has a higher response time then LCD, which makes the picture clear and sharp even when it's not HD. Plasma also has much better color than LCD and is perfect for watchin movies or sports.

A LCD has a slower response time than plasma which makes the picture a little blury however when it's an HD input the sharpness and the clarity of the picture can be mad good. LCD usally has a higher contrast ratio and the pixels die later than they would on plasma. LCD is perfect for computers(if you are going to connect your computer to your T.V.) and it is also good for Video games and cartoons. It also has crisp clear pictures even when there is lots of light.

So I'd say buy LCD but if you are using it to watch movies or sports buy plasma however I must warn you that LCD lasts a lot longer.
