What is Hawaii's major newspaper?

I am doing a project/report on Hawaii and I need the major newspaper and some current events. Like New York's major newspaper is The New York Times.

Well, Hawaii is a state (and ONE of the islands of the state), not a city. Thus, there is NO state newspaper for "Hawaii," just as there is no state newspaper for New York. (The Times is in New York CITY; there are many other major newspapers throughout the state).

So, you need to narrow down your geography. Say, for example, to Honolulu. The major newspaper there is the Honolulu Star Bulletin.

I live in Hawaii, and have been here for 29 years. (32 years old, and I lived in Chicago for three years).

Yes, there are many newspapers around the islands. But the major Newspaper is not the Star-Bulletin, it's the Honolulu Advertiser.

The Honolulu Advertiser has more readership than the Star-Bulletin, and is delivered to all the major islands.
