What is Hd radio and what Do I need to do to receive it?

what is hd radio and how is it different from regular radio. Do I need to buy a new kind of radio to get hd radio?

Unlike satellite radio, it is free, but yes, you do need a new radio.

HD radio has better quality and allows stations to send multiple feeds via the same spectrum.

Yes, you have to buy a digital radio (but it will also play the analog stations).

In my opinion it sucks. Not worth the extra money.

I have a Cambridge Soundworks 820 HD radio and there's only about 4 HD stations broadcasting in my area.

They really don't sound any different from the normal (good signal) analog stations.
