What is Hisaronu like?

I'm going on holiday to Hisaronu near to Fethiye and wondered if anyone knows what the place is like.

I was looking for a nice quiet holiday, but have just heard that it is a bit of a rowdy resort.

Any tips or ideas of great places to visit out there?

It is a place which has built up around the British holiday trade and is noisy and not at all traditional Turkish.The good news is that Fethiye and Olu Denize are within easy reach.

U could go to the beach and there is a resort over there.

It can get quite rowdy on a night. Whether this effects your holiday will depend on which hotel you are staying in.  There are some lovely bars and restaurants to relax in without it turning in to a "clubbing" holiday.  If you head up the bank out of the village in to Ovacik there are some really nice traditional Turkish places.  I have been many times and love the area.  Booked to return for 3 weeks in 6 weeks time.
