What is Hospitality & Tourism mainly about?

Is it a business major or more into art. What do you do? Where do you work at? Thank you for your help. This will help me when I go to college.

my cousing is a hotel manager in Las Vegas and he makes some great money.. he takes care of high rollers and manages a 50 person staff..

Either business or art.  THe idea is to get people out of their home and into hotels.  Can you do it. I worked for a hotel for 5 years and loved it./
