hiya i am off to Hotel Balcon del Mar in Puerto Rico-Gran Canaria in the next two weeks and i am wondering what is the rooms like, veiws etc

This apartment complex is located near the top of the hill between the two famous resorts of Puerto Rico and Amadores. It enjoys a spectacular panoramic view of the sea and both villages. The wonderful location of the complex, which faces the Teide volcano, will delight guests each afternoon with the most beautiful and unforgettable sunsets. There is a bus station just 100 m away, shopping possibilities 400 m away and the beach is 2 km away. Las Palmas Airport is 55 km from the hotel.

Room

The apartments are 54 m² in size and come with two beds in both bedrooms, a single sofa bed in the living room and an en suite bathroom with a shower. They also include a living room/kitchen area with two cooking hobs, a microwave, a kettle, a fridge, a toaster, crockery, glassware and cutlery. A direct dial telephone, satellite TV, 30 litre water heater, a safe and a terrace all come as standard. High chairs are available on request.

Sports/Entertainment

The hotel offers 2 swimming pools, as well as a children's paddling area, with sun loungers and parasols. There is also a poolside snack bar and a sun terrace. Sun loungers and parasols can be hired at the beach.

I don't know about this particular hotel, but you can go to www.holidaytruths.com to find out. I didn;t care much for the resort I have never seen so many touts harrasing you on the street - and don;t buy any electrical goods there - they are fakes - thats why they are so cheap. Also don't play any scratch cards if someone approaches you - it's all about time shares there. Finally if someone asks if you have a credit card - it's for timeshares. Nice weather though.
