Has anybody out there noticed that IGNOU has rejected 575 applications for the entrance examination for admission into the B.Ed programme for the year 2008. That's a whopping 500 x 575 = Rs 2,87,500 going into their kitty. How come an institute running in the name of a famous national leader extort money from the poor aspirants - can someone explain. If someone fails in the entrance test then it's another thing, but why should one lose one's money even without taking the exam is hard to fathom. It's a shame that it is happening in India when crores of rupees are disappearing without even a trace. One should realise that awarding crores of rupees to individuals wont have any fruitful effect unless small things like this are taken care of....
