What is Ikea's delivery policy?

I'm moving into an apartment and I want to go and buy a couple of floor lamps and about 4 table lamps from Ikea, but the thing is that I don't have a vehicle right now; I'm taking a cab everywhere. Also I'm living in a hotel until I move into the apartment in about a week. Will Ikea deliver such a small purchase to me? I'm willing to pay extra.

Yes you pay some extra amount to shopkeeper they will delivered the same to at your place if you do not have time.

They will deliver it. But it may cost you at least $70 and then I think there's poundage after that.... But, your lamps will not exceed that, so you will probably pay the base fee. One lamp and they would just send it to you, but several and they'll need a truck.

Ikea subcontracts trucks that run several stops in a given area. Your stuff won't be the only thing they deliver on that truck. But by having a volume of customers they can keep the delivery costs down.

And while they mentioned USPS, and UPS, I do believe that several lamps will be large enough that they'll deliver it a rental truck. Hey, my entire apartment has nothing but stuff from Ikea. I bought $1500 and it cost $170 for delivery. Not bad, not bad at all.
