What is Ireland's overall job market & economy like?

Just curious, because if I ever travel there, I will probably fall in love with the scenery, etc., and would want to stay there. I love it already, just from pictures!

I'm living here now for 25 years. Its absolutely BOOMING as far as economy and job market goes. However, there are some problems, the largest of which is the housing crises. the housing market is through the roof for prices and its now almost impossible for average wage earners to get property in the cities so commuting from outlying counties is a large factor which is growing.

What would you/can you work at coz if you do decide to visit perhaps i could advise further-leave a message on my Yahoo 360 or just send a contact. good luck with your decision. If your American i'd love to swop with you just for a few months to go see someone and experiance America for work and culture, even though i'm more personally drawn east. As for scenary, you MUST visit these top 3 counties (in order of beauty);

1. Kerry

2. Donegal

3. Wicklow
