What is Islamic medicine?

I know of some people who are considered to be Islamic therapists and who're concerned to offer their treatment services in acute, chronic or severe diseases for a long. Could anybody tell us about this Islamic therapy and/or medicine?

The only one I heard is if one is caught stealing, they chop your hand off....... and the Arabic Doctors charge $5.00 for their visit card.  I am interested to hear any positive  Islamic therapy or medicine from your answers
