  1. by an italian: if you mean that you are just covering your head with a tudong, it's perfectly fine with us.

(Our grand mothers used to cover their heads last time, especially entering churches....)

It's a bit more uncommon to see a woman fully covered up with a burka but after all.... (especially with summer temperature ranging around 40C)

    Tutto il mondo e' paese!

(every country has it's way of doing things)

  2. Be happy, in Italy this is normal. Maybe only if you go in some little city in Lombardia or in Veneto and you're alone you may have some problem.

  3. don't worry at all... some may look at you but never comment so do anything bad.... enjoy your time and eat some pizza

  4. dont worry at all italian are very tolirant people you will get a few stare but thats about it..make sure you will sample our food ok

    bienvenutti!!

  5. Italians are nice to newcommers. I am sure they wont judge you. Italians aren't like the kind of people that laugh and stare at people. SO i am pretty sure you will have no problem!

  6. I am not italian and i am from the US but i can tell you this when i see a woman who wears a burka sometimes i can't help but wonder nothing dirty but its just the curiosity of what the face looks like because i have seen alot of muslim woman that wear the burka and there eyes are always so pretty

sorry for what i say i mean no disrespect just had to get it off the chest but to answer your question i don't think you have to worry they are probably use to seeing it

  7. There are a lot of Muslims in Italy, so it isn't strange seeing a girl wearing a chador. Don't worry and I hope you'll enjoy yourself in Italy.

  8. shoot her shoot her :) just kidding get someone else to answer

  9. There's nothing much you can do...it really depends on the people there. Just be who you are and be proud of your religion. I don't think that many people will pick on you because of that.
