What is Jailbreak for iPod Touch?

Hi,

I've seen things on the net about Jailbreak for your ipod touch. Can someone let me know what the pro's are if I were to get it. Im a little concerned wether its safe for my ipod because I just bought it 2 days ago and dont want it stuffing it up.... So please, if u can, tell me what it is and how to get it etc...

It just adds bad games to your iPod Touch that you can't delete. Not safe, just look at the name. there is a new App Store on the iTunes Store that lets you download 100+ free and thousands of cheap applications for iPod Touch. I have about 76 free apps from there that work perfectly. A lot easier, more seamless, and safer than jailbreaking which I think is illegal.

I think that jailbreak is relatively harmless, but like the Internet, you have to be careful what you download.  Worst case scenario though, you can always do a hard reset on your iPod Touch and set things back to factory condition.
