  1. Nothing comes to mind but he is a tax and spender.

Sen. Biden voted against the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts proposed by President Bush and in 2006 earned an 11 percent rating by the National Taxpayers Union.

  2. Getting re-elected for 30 years.

  3. He must be doing something right for getting re-elected so many times.

  4. One is that he did the violence against Women Act when he was chair of the Judiciary.

He has twice served as Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee and that is a very important Senate Committee with many bright people on both sides of the aisle. Chairing a Senate Committee at that level takes a great deal of skill fairness and firmness while being civilized .  So to me that is a real achievement. He and Lugar the Republican Vice Chair are both very good Senators.  Since the committee is the top the members are some of the most well know of both parties.

There are many other acheivements but you asked for the greatest and for me as a woman that was a very important piece of legislation.

And having chaired bi partisan committees,  I give Biden very high marks.

  5. Actually voting on something, unlike his running mate who's most common vote is "Present."

  6. I think he passed some kind of musket bill sometime when he was younger

  7. That he has been there for 10 years longer than McCain.

  8. He became nominated for Vice President!

  9. Attempted to endear himself to an Indian American supporter by telling him that in Delaware, “you cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.”

  10. you can't put one achievement over the others and say its the greatest. his service to the senate is outstanding. just ask john mccain, i'm sure he'd tell ya the same.

  11. His greatest achievement is: Keeping the Senate overheated with all his hot air.

Biden is a idiot now and always has been. In order to really help this country he needs to retire — ASAP.

  12. The fact that the citizens of the u.s. were smart enough not to elect him the two times he did the wanna-be prez endeavor.  Couldn't make it on his own - so he is now Obama's Yezza man.

  13. well there is......uh.........well on the other hand there is.......uh...well..ummmm...uh.............

  14. Being asked to be Obama's running mate.

  15. Wanting to take Iraq and create three separate countries. Which by the way would have caused a 3 way tribal civil war which would have led to millions being killed. His next achievement........keeping his one son whos been in and out of jail for many offenses out of the media's attention.  As long as MSNBC's Chris Mathews and Keith the "idiotic" Oberman maintain their Obama addiction of the mesiah commeth, Biden should have a pretty easy time of it.

    UNTIL............

SARA MOOSE EATIN, 30-06 HUNTIN', UNION CARD CARRYIN', CLEAN MY OWN FISH, HOCKEY MOMMIN' ,SPORTS CASTIN', NRA CARD CARRYIN', EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR WHO RUNS A STATE GOVERNMENT WITH THE RICHEST ENERGY STATE IN THE COUNTRY, WHO HAS WALKED IT NOT JUST TALKED IT -PALIN ----- CAME INTO THE PICTURE.

The more the libs and their media groupies get sarcastic into cranium meltdown over Palin, the more they are worried. They should be.

  16. During Biden's 34 years in the senate, he's been recognized as a leader in foreign policy, as well as one of the nation's most influential voices on terrorism, drug policy, and crime.

Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee

Long-standing member and former Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee

Co-Chairman of the International Narcotics Control Caucus

    Also:

He served an instrumental role in passing the bipartisan initiative to create a Commission on Civil Rights in 1983, to introducing the 1986 Global Climate Protection Act, to establishing an annual National Mammography Awareness Day, and to authoring the Rail Security Act of 2007 to regulate the transportation of hazardous materials on American railways, Senator Biden consistently works to tackle America's toughest challenges.

Authored the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994

    2007 Biden Crime Bill

Recently introduced the College Affordability and Creating Chances for Educational Success for Students (ACCESS) Act

He also authored legislation to help foreign countries address the threats of bioterrorism and nuclear or radiological ("dirty bombs") terrorism. And he sought to expand programs to destroy unsecured weapons of mass destruction and dangerous materials in the former Soviet Union and beyond.

Visit his senate site and see. It's not a matter of opinion. It's all FACT.
