What is Joe Blanton's problem this year(A's Pitcher)?

Is it velocity, location, wildness, mental, lack of run support, or something else. Does he have dead on and no velocity?

Probably a little bit of everything. Also the fact that the hitters aren't giving him much help...

I think in the beginning is lack of run support. he's ERA was around 3.80. but i think after losing all those close games it kinda wore him down mentally. He's kinda accepted the fact that he's gonna lose even if he starts out really well in a game. Last game I saw him pitch he retired like the first 10 batters he faced but when it all went down hill when he gave up the first hit. A's eventually lost 11-1...pretty sad
