  1. The short answer is "less than 1".

    A + B <==> C

    If there is a lot of C at equilibrium and not much A and B, then the equilibrium lies to the right.

    Keq = [C] / [A][B] = number much greater than 1

    If the reverse is true and the equilibrium lies to the left, then there is not much C, and a boatload of A and B, and Keq will be much smaller than 1.
