I went to a medical specialist who practiced it, but I was skeptical. She asked my body yes or no questions and gave me a diet program. It seemed accurate, but I am skeptical to return.

  1. There are 2 different types of Kineseology. One is basically exercise physiology whjich is fine. The other type is more into the occult and new age stuff, many of them are quacks:

  3. Kinesiology is the study of how the body moves...how muscles ligaments tendons and bones work together. Physiotherapists and athletics trainers study this.

Applied Kinesiology (aka Muscle testing) on the other hand is a quack AltMed practise, usually done by Naturopaths, but various other forms of quackery may use it as well.  There are different forms and methods, but basically they claim that they can diagnose various illnesses, typically "toxins" or "parasite" infestations, by testing your muscle strength as they pass various potions near you, or have you hold on to something.

There is no scientific basis for this at all, it is complete nonsense.
