What is Kosher Ham? And who do you cook it? I'm having some Jewish Folks over for a cookout and am looking for some good ideas.

  2. kosher I think is a brand. It might be already cooked. If it is so just heat it up or serve cold for sandwiches.

  4. Oooh, bad form, man.  Ham cannot be kosher by definition.

    Just serve lobster.  Or bacon wrapped scallops seared over a hot fire.

    Or cheeseburgers.  They'll love it.

  5. Um, ham by definition cannot be kosher.  Neither is shellfish.  

  6. Kosher ham is a contradiction in terms.  Products made of pigs' flesh are forbidden under the laws of kashrut.  You might want to ask them if they will eat meat not certified kosher.  If not, consider making a vegetarian dish, Better yet, ask them what would be appropriate.
