  2. My brother did this for the LC. Its mostly project work. You build a portfolio of various practical things, like a work experience diary, a CV, interviews with people who work in areas you are interested in etc. There is also an oral test and an exam. I'm not sure it would be worth your while doing it Karen. The maximum points you can get for it is 70 (Distinction),  with 50 (Merit) and 30 (Pass) the other 2 grades.  Its aimed at students with restricted options who need an extra subject. You might be better off with a subject you like that you could study on your own outside of school.
