there's a small percent chance to go blind if the surgery fails.

Also, when you grow old, your eyes vision will change. So you will wear glasses when you're old again.

Also, sometimes eye vision deteriorates, even after laser surgery. You cannot do the laser surgery again because the cornea has already been reshapen.
