What is Love to you?

I am doing a presentation on "living love" and i would like to know what everyone thinks are practical ways that you show you love someone and what are things that people have done to make you feel loved?

Also, do you think love can change things?

Can love bring peace?

Love is like friendship on fire.  Love can change everything because love makes you do things you probably wouldn't normally do. (Like drive all the way 3 states over to pick up a friend in need of help.) You can show someone you love them by doing things for them or even listening to them, being a shoulder to cry on.  Hugs. Smiles. Kisses. Sometimes knowing your loved brings you inner peace so I would definatly say it brings peace.

If someone was sad they may want to hurt them selves or be mean to others, but if a caring person cheers them up they may change there attitude and pass on some caring to someone else in need.  (Kinda like a pay it forward.) People can make me feel loved by telling me what a good person I am or even how nice I look.
