  1. The kickpoint is the region of a golf shaft where it is designed to flex.

    A mid/low kickpoint is pretty standard for many manufacturers 'stock' shafts.

    Some specialized shafts will offer a high kickpoint, this would mean the shaft was engineered to flex a bit more towards the grip....the higher kickpoint results in a lower ballflight.

    The mid/low kickpoint will result in a higher launch in comparison to the high kickpoint.
