What is Mannheim like? i want the good, bad, and the ugly!?

Well,

Mannheim is fairly interesting. It doesnt have a lot of character andit is highly industrial. It has a well developed downtown and a well developed public transportaion system. great shopping and eating selections. I wouldnt recommend living here but its not absolutely that bad.

i went to college there and lived there for about 3 years. I liked it a lot. I grow up in germany and Mannheim is on of my fav. city. there are lots of ways to get around so you dont really need a car. There are lots of americans there because of the base. great food and shopping. Great places to party. I dont really know any bad things so say about it. Its a ok size city not to big, some people might say there is not a whole lot to do there. hope this helps.
