  1. its pretty fun down there. i only stayed there two days but it was really fun. lots of good food and an excellent scenery.

  2. i live in guadalajara and i go to mazatlan almost once every two months

in terms of money, food is cheap, haha the clothes arent so attractive so you wouldnt want to buy them there anyway, housing well...its difficult to find something for middle class. stuff is either really really cheap, or really really expensive. in my opinion. the weather is hot but not super hot. id say its ok. as for safety. like any other place it has its dangerous parts but all in all i find it very safe, theres always families walking around everywhere, not a lot of shady places. i wouldnt say safety would be something to worry about if you moved there. the people are friendly and helpful, especially to new comers, only thing...its kind of hard to find young people. good luck in making your decision, i hope i was of help to you!

  3. First, I am spoiled. After living here over 20 years, I couldn't live anywhere else.

Mazatlan is the least expensive area on the Mexican Rivera. Prices here are of course going up. They are going up everywhere! We are just well behind Cabo or PV or Cancun. There are homes from $70,000 to millions. Condos from $40,000 to a million. Food is reasonable, dining out is cheap.

Weather. Summers are hot. Period. Not Phoenix hot, Florida hot. Temps from June through Sept are days, 85 to 95. (Rarely any higher) nights 80 to 85 (Rarely any cooler. Humidity is high. From 70 to 80%. Winters are (Typically) great. Days in the 70's and 80's, nights in the high 60's and low 70's.

Mazatlan as a whole is extreemly safe to live in.

  4. all I know is that its very beautiful down there!
