What is McCain's strategy in picking a non-entity newbie with no experience in global politics?

Please. Can someone explain. Is it a cynical exploitation of Hillary's disaffected supporters, plain and simple, as appears to be the case?

ummm ... I was wondering the same thing about democrats and their pick for president. Obama has no experience in global politics and very very little in domestic politics. I would suggest doing a bit more research before posting false propaganda. I smell the fear of a troll here....ha ha ha.

I'm only guessing, mind you... But one of Palin's great strengths is that of a reformer. I suspect HER job is going to be with cleaning up Washington... much like she cleaned up the corruption in Alaska's government.

from a strategic stanpoint all you have to do is realize all the talk today is about "experience" and "Hillary"....these are two things that Obama does NOT want to hear....because both expose his weaknesses.

I think the party is putting too much weight on the "Hillary Supporters"...after all, it's obvious that Obama does not give them much credence...

...this was a crafty move to trap Obama in his own "change" rhetoric, expose his inexperience and dis-unity within his own party....If you notice, it is the Obama supporters that are exposing their own narrow vision..(i.e.  Palin is a Woman....Hillary is a Woman....so Palin's only role is to counter Hillary and get Women to vote for her.....Talk about sexist, 1960s thinking!!)

Easy. She is female. He thinks that since many people liked Clinton because she was female, more people would support them. Many of Clinton's previous supporters are still unsure  of how to vote for. I personally like Obama. He would be a better president, and he is a better person. After all the attack ads McCain approved, Obama congratulated him. As for experience, tons of solders have, unfortunately, been it war. That does not mean they are "ready to lead" as McCain put in an attack ad against Obama.

That is exactly what I think of McCain.

He knows that his chances of winning are slim and none, and he needed a uterus to be competitive.

He must think Hillary supporters only voted for her because she is a female.
