It's the business of running anything that falls under the umbrella of "medical" services.

That could be a rural doctor's office, a plastic surgeon for celebrities, anything in a hospital, a private MRI clinic, a group psychiatric and mental health agency...the list goes on and on.

There is no average salary.  it depends where it is, and what the position is, and how skilled you need to be, and how experienced you are at that particular job.

Jobs range from filing & office clerk, to receptionist, therapist, nurse, doctor, ultrasound technician...

most will pay you enough to live on.
