In prograde metamorphism metamorphic rocks that were formed under low pressure and temperature conditions undergo a second metamorphic event in which they are exposed to higher pressures and temperatures. In retrograde metamorphism metamorphic rocks that were formed under high pressure and temperature conditions undergo a second metamorphic event in which they are exposed to lower pressures and temperatures. Metamorphsim is the solid state alteration of rocks due to changes in the temperature and pressure conditions.  A metamorphic deposit is one which is formed by metamorphic processes.  In some cases, low grade rocks recrystallising at higher temperatures, will give off fluids which can carry ore minerals and concentrate them in veins, making a mineral deposit.  Another kind of metamorphic deposit is formed by the alteration of calc-silicate rocks by late stage fluids emanating from a cooling pluton - these are known as skarns.
