  1. What Is Neurotechnology?

Neurotechnology techniques can be described as "Push-Ups" for the brain.   Neurotechnology may be viewed as brain exercise tools or strategies that can benefit all. Neurotechnology gets the brain in shape, resulting in the brain being more available to parents, teachers, and employers. Neurotechnology training enhances the brain's ability to have the capacity to produce more energy or access useful brain states when the situation dictates. With Neurotechnology, we train and exercise the brain to improve the brain's capacity to be flexible (shifting brain states) at the same time to improve stability (maintain brain states) when necessary.

A few of the tools used in Neurotechnology are EEG Neurofeedback and Audio Visual Entrainment.

  2. It sounds like some kind of biotechnology... kind of interesting, actually. My guess is that it would be using technology (computers, circuits, etc) to 1) mimic the function of nerve tissues for figuring out the mechanics of the brain or 2) practically apply technology for repair or replacement of damaged, destroyed, or absent tissues.
