  1. No one knows how North Korea's like, it's like the country is isolated. They are in fact a communist country, you can't visit them easily. It's strange isn't it, and mysterious but no worries they'll live.

  2. It's isolated from the rest of the world. It's possible to tour Pyongyang, but you'll have guards leading you everywhere to the "best" spots. You can't sightsee on your own. North Korea is the product of communism.

  3. North Korea is the commonly used short form name for the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (or DPRK),[4] a state located in East Asia, in the northern half of the Korean Peninsula, with its capital and largest city being the city of Pyongyang.

To the south, separated by the Korean Demilitarized Zone, lies South Korea, with which it formed one nation until division following World War II. At its northern Amnok River border are China and, separated by the Tumen River in the extreme north-east, Russia.

North Korea is widely considered to be a Stalinist dictatorship.[5][6][7][8][9][10] The country's government styles itself as following the Juche ideology of self reliance, developed by Kim Il-sung, the country's former leader. The current leader is Kim Jong-il, the late president Kim Il-sung's son. Relations are strongest with other officially socialist states: Vietnam, Laos, especially China and Russia, as well as with Cambodia and Myanmar. Following a major famine in the early 1990s, due partly to the collapse of the Soviet Union (previously a major economic partner), leader Kim Jong-il instigated the "Military-First" policy in 1995, increasing economic concentration and support for the military.

North Korea's culture is officially promoted and heavily controlled by the government. The Mass Games are government-organized events glorifying its two leaders, involving over 100,000 performers.

i think n. korea is so very mysterious. few people only knows on what north korea have... n.korea and south korea must unite again together so that the sicked people and other n.koreans will be have a good life coz south korea is now a progressive country..

    annyong hi'kaseyo!

  4. I would imagine it is extremely terrible over there, I saw a report by BBC world that many N Korean women illegally crossed over the border to China to be prostitutes. The children they had in China are known as "ghost Child", they have no id number. If they tripped they died in the frozen river.

When they earned enough money they will try to buy a fake passport to go to S Korea.

  5. how are we suppose to know

only north koreans should know that

    well its a communist country

and i know that you can go on tours there

but there are like guards everywhere

i feel so sad for that country...there are like poor, hungry, sick children there that die everyday and kim jong il doesnt do anything about it
