What is Obama's relation to Weather Underground?

Question

I do not understand what is the big deal about Obama's relationship with the group Weather Underground.

Are these the same people with the website www.wunderground.com ? I do not see what they are doing wrong they are helping people by telling the weather. I have gone to their site for many years to check the weather.

Why are Weathermen called terrorist? I just don't get it please explain.

The original Weather Underground was a radical organization in the 1960s that (among other things) destroyed property for political reasons.  They're called "terrorist" because people are either idiots or dishonest, sort of like how tree-spikers are called "terrorist" for trying to sabotage sawmills.

Obama has no real connection to the Weather Underground.  He was like eight years old at the time.  Years later, some company hired both Obama and some professor who had once been in the Weather Underground.  The Clintons are just throwing BS at him to see if anything sticks.

I dont think he is a terrorist.   The weather underground was pretty bad too.
